Sequin-embroidered silk and tulle fan, Bakelite frame, circa 1900

Antique silk fan with ecru tulle lining. Entirely embroidered with silver and gold sequins, openwork sections reveal the fine, delicate tulle. The frame is in transparent Bakelite with engraving and silver pastilles. A pretty ecru pompom is attached to the center ring. 
The fan is sold with its original box labeled "A.MAIRE", made or sold in Marseille in the 1900s.
In its original condition, with traces of age and wear visible on the photos (stains and damaged tulle).
