Superb old oval reliquary frame, dating from the 19th century Napoleon III period. The reliquary features a central image of Saint Marguerite-Marie holding a sacred heart. The image is surrounded by three relics decorated with paperolles bearing the names of the following Catholic saints:
St François de Sales
St Marguerite Alacoque
St. Chantal
 
Beautiful Second Empire-style frame in blackened wood with gilded fillet. 
In its original condition, with traces of age and wear. Accident on the frame.
