Old terracotta medallion in bas-relief representing a satyress or fauna playing with a child satyr (fauna). This type of round-shaped work is called a tondo. It is a creation after Claude Michel dit Clodion, French sculptor (1738-1814).
No signature, stamp on the reverse, not deciphered.
Original frame missing. With wall mounting bracket.
Good condition, in its original condition with traces of age and wear.
