Magnificent Italian earthenware albarello, dating from the 18th century.
This old pharmacy jar, also called “albarello”, was used in pharmacies to store medicinal herbs, spices or ointments. It is an ideal collector's item for lovers of old earthenware, cabinets of curiosities or apothecary objects.

This superb albarello is hand painted with a rich and colorful decoration typical of 18th century Italian earthenware. It features:
• Stylized birds holding a yellow fruit in their beaks, surrounded by foliage and green scrolls.
• Bright blue flowers with yellow hearts.
• Blue and yellow butterflies
• Hand-painted blue lines on the neck and base
This antique piece shows signs of time, evidence of its authenticity and history:
