Christ reliquary frame in brass (Christ 17th century and Napoleon III frame, 19th century)

Superb old oval reliquary frame, dating from the 19th century Napoleon III period. The reliquary contains in the center a copy of Jesus Christ on the cross on a blue velvet background. The Christ is older than the frame and dates from the 17th century.
Beautiful blackened wood frame, classic Second Empire style. 
In its original condition, with traces of age and wear. Dust inside the frame impossible to clean without opening it.
