Antique Kanak club from New Caledonia, carved from a single block of hardwood. The oval head surmounts a collar, a typical design of prestige weapons used within Kanak chiefdoms.


The piece displays a deep patina, old cracks, and chips on the collar, all entirely consistent with its age and authenticity. It is a fine example of a traditional club, serving both as a weapon of war and a symbol of authority.
