Rare “Blue Henry” pocket spittoon, an authentic late 19th-century medical item made of cobalt blue glass with metal fittings.

Used by tuberculosis patients to collect sputum and prevent contamination, according to the practices of Dr. Dettweiler.

Dimensions: height 11.5 cm – width 7.5 cm – weight 220 g.

Condition: very good working order; glass without cracks or chips; hinge and closure operational.

Deep blue glass, visible embossing, marked lid.

Imported from Germany.
