Rare French majolica-style slip dish set, consisting of a colander in the shape of a bunch of asparagus and its matching dish decorated with artichokes and foliage in relief. This type of production is typical of late 19th-century French earthenware factories, such as Onnaing, Sarreguemines, or Lunéville, in keeping with the majolica style born in England at Minton.

Asparagus colander:
Depicts a bundle of white and green asparagus, with pink tips, held together by pink ribbons.
Functional perforations (9 holes) for draining.
Rests on two molded green leaves, serving as feet. Intaglio marking under the base: “B G”
