Framed herbarium with botanical composition 40x49cm, Florence 1902

Old herbarium framed under glass with a composition of plants. The botanical study was carried out by Professor Moroni in Florence. It consists of three plant species, stylized in an urn drawn in red ink. A handwritten label at the bottom of the composition mentions the important details of the composition, as well as a few annotations on the names of the plants. 
Framed in brown and black painted wood. The reverse of the frame is laminated with Italian newspapers from the period, allowing the composition to be precisely dated.
In its original condition, with traces of age and wear.
