Meed Mor – Thai ritual magic knife, 1900
This antique Meed Mor is a traditional Thai ritual knife, forged from bronze, with a beautiful natural patina attesting to its age. Used in Buddhist and animist spiritual practices, it served to ward off negative energies, break curses, or protect sacred places. It can be described as a magical or sacred knife.
Its thick, unsharpened blade and finely turned handle with a stupa (chedi) pommel make it a fine example of ritual craftsmanship. This particular model has no engravings, suggesting that it was not activated by a monk and can therefore be consecrated by its future custodian.
Ideal for those passionate about spirituality, Thai traditions, or collectors of sacred objects.
