Small antique religious medallion, late 19th century, featuring a photograph of a nun (portrait in light-colored habit, face downcast) protected under a transparent disc on the front.
The edge is covered with purple fabric braid with a small loop for hanging.
On the back, a paper cover sealed with a red cross stamp contains a fragment of fabric. This is most likely a 2nd class relic (having belonged to or been in direct contact with the nun depicted).
