Superb pair of 19th-century gilt bronze religious candlesticks from a former Italian convent. A magnificent example of the religious art of this period, in a refined neo-Gothic style, ideal for collecting, restoration, or sacred decoration.

Detailed Description:
Bronze structure with original gilding, presenting a beautiful natural patina.
Richly decorated tripod base, adorned with openwork Latin crosses and stylized foliage.
Twisted shaft, with relief decoration running along the entire height, evoking Solomonic columns.
Upper cup with gadrooned rim, holding a candle holder. The mounting remains functional.

Condition:
Very good overall condition, with wear from use on the gilding. Both candlesticks are sturdy and stable.
