Enamel plaque Rotkreuz-Depot German Red Cross 1950s Dachau

Authentic enamel sign bearing the inscription:

“Rotkreuz-Depot,” used to identify a German Red Cross depot.

Manufactured in Germany by Duro-Emaillierwerk GmbH, Dachau, a company specializing in the production of industrial and signage enamel signs in the mid-20th century.

This sign dates from the 1950s–1960s, a period of reconstruction and reorganization of civil and humanitarian services in post-war Germany.

The enamel has a beautiful shine, with an authentic patina and normal signs of wear for this type of outdoor signage.
