Rare Islamic ceramic pot, probably of Iranian origin, dating from the 18th century, Qajar period.
This type of pot was used for storing food or liquids, incorporating an underglaze cobalt blue painted decoration, typical of Persian folk ceramics.
The style of the stylized floral decoration, the crackled glaze, the ample and functional shape, as well as the overall patina are characteristic of regional artisanal productions from the Qajar period, in 18th-century Iran.
