A magnificent and rare antique musical Marotte doll, signed F.G. (François Gaultier), one of the most famous doll makers of the 19th century.

• Height: 30 cm
• Bisque head with beautiful fixed blue glass eyes, hand-painted heart-shaped mouth
• Conical headdress in red and gold fabric with gold braid
• Original clothes, two-tone fabric dress (red and white) with gold trim
• Original bells, one bell missing
• Carved bone handle, which also serves as a whistle
• Working musical mechanism, activated by rotating the handle.

• Good general condition considering its age
• A missing bell (visible in the photos)
• Slight traces of wear on the clothes and the head, but original, which is rare,
• The mechanism works, it may need a revision
