Ancient reliquary with wax seal – Ex Petra Calvariae / Ex Coenaculum. 19th century
Rare antique Catholic reliquary containing two relics identified by handwritten inscriptions:
Ex Petra Calvariae: fragment from the stone of Calvary, the site of Christ's crucifixion in Jerusalem.
Ex Coenaculum: fragment from the Cenacle, the room where the Last Supper took place, also located in Jerusalem.
The interior is decorated with gold fabric and features handwritten labels from the period. The reverse side is sealed with red wax and silk thread, guaranteeing the integrity of the reliquary.
