Antique round reliquary with wax seal – St. Gandulphe. 19th century

Ancient Catholic reliquary containing a relic identified by a handwritten label:
St. Gandulf (Saint Gandulf), bishop of Tongeren-Maastricht in the 8th century, honored as a saint in the Catholic tradition.
The interior is decorated with purple fabric framed with red silk thread.
The reverse is sealed with a red wax seal crossed by silk threads, confirming the integrity of the reliquary.
