A beautiful antique digestif set of German origin, dating from the early 20th century (circa 1900-1920).
It is believed to be a navy digestif tray, used on board ships (officers' cabins or passenger lounges). The integrated metal support is designed to hold the glasses and carafes securely in place, even when the ship is moving, which reinforces this hypothesis.
